Tiffany Shaw is a passionate and forward-thinking educational leader dedicated to empowering students, supporting educators, and building meaningful connections between education and the world beyond the classroom. With more than 25 years of experience in education, Tiffany has built a career centered on innovation, leadership, and creating opportunities for students and staff to discover their potential, develop their strengths, and achieve success.
Tiffany currently serves as Director of Workforce Development & Accountability for Tuscarawas Valley Local Schools in Zoarville, Ohio. In these roles, she works to advance educational innovation,
strengthen career exploration and workforce development initiatives, and create meaningful partnerships among schools, businesses, community organizations, and industry leaders. She is passionate about helping students connect their classroom learning to real-world experiences and equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate their future education and career pathways.
A proud graduate of Muskingum College, Tiffany holds bachelor's degrees
in Elementary Education and Psychology, as well as master's degrees in
Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Administration. Her diverse
educational background, combined with decades of experience in teaching, technology integration, and leadership, provides a strong foundation for her work in preparing students for an ever-changing world.
Tiffany is a dedicated advocate for middle-level education and has
served on the Executive Board of the Ohio Middle Level Association (OMLA) for almost 20 years, currently serving as President-Elect. Her commitment to advancing the middle-level profession reflects her belief that these formative years are essential in helping students develop the academic, social, and career-readiness skills necessary for lifelong success. In 2023, Tiffany was honored as Educator of the Year by
the Ohio Middle Level Association, recognizing her outstanding contributions to education and her leadership in the middle-level community.
Tiffany lives in Bolivar, Ohio, with her husband, Matt, and daughter Sophia. She loves spending time with daughter Olivia, son-in-law, Josh, and has earned her most prized title of “TT” to grandson, Holden. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places, reading, shopping, and, most
importantly, making meaningful memories with family and friends.
