Shannon Federinko
Shannon Federinko has been a K-12 educator for the past 30 years. She graduated from the University of Akron with Bachelor’s Degrees in Dance and Education, and a Masters Degree in Education Administration. She received her Superintendent’s License from Ashland University. She taught middle level math and science for 12 years, and served on the OMLA Advisory Board for 15 years. Shannon was an Assistant Principal at Claggett Middle School in Medina, Ohio, and North Royalton High School. She was the Heritage Elementary Principal in Medina, Ohio, and retired as The Director of Communications for The Wooster City School District. Shannon now works with State Support Team Region 7 as an Education Consultant. She has presented at the state level and was the 2007 OMLA Educator of the Year. In addition to serving on the OMLA Board as the East Regional Representative, she also serves on the Ashland Leadership Academy Seminar (ALAS) planning committee. She resides in Medina with her three children.
