Brenda Svec
Misty is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Xavier University, where she is working on her dissertation. She is serving as the Director of Teaching and Learning at Milford Exempted Village Schools outside of Cincinnati. Prior to that role, she served as Principal of Milford Junior High School for six years. Her career in education began as a high school social studies teacher, and she has spent the past 11 years as an administrator.
Now in her 25th year in education, Misty has also been active in professional organizations, presenting at state and national conferences and serving on various leadership committees. Beyond her professional life, she finds joy and balance in time spent with her husband, Jeff, their three children, Faith, Kylie, and Camden, their two dogs, Chewie and Solo, and close friends.
