JR Easterling
JR is a 2002 graduate of Hiram College, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle-Childhood education. He taught at Manchester Middle School from 2002-2013 and served as the head wrestling coach at Manchester High School. He earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership (2005) and completed his Superintendent Licensure (2017) from Ashland University. Since 2013, JR has been an administrator in the Plain Local Schools. He has served Plain Local as the principal of Frazer Elementary, Middlebranch Elementary, and Oakwood Middle School, and most recently has transitioned into the role of Curriculum Coordinator/Data Analyst for the district. JR earned his Graduate Certificate in Public Finance Management in 2022 from the University of Kentucky. JR resides in Canal Fulton with his wife Tara and his son Dylan.
