Audrey Beining
I am honored to serve as one of the Northwest Region Representatives for the Ohio Middle Level Association. I am currently the principal of Ottawa Elementary, a K–8 building, where I focus on creating a supportive environment that helps students grow, empowers staff, and strengthens connections with our community. I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in special education and began my career as an intervention specialist. I served in that role within multiple districts for 11 years before transitioning into administration. My passion for public education and community engagement drives both my professional and volunteer work. Outside of school, I am actively involved in Ottawa’s revitalization initiative, Go Ottawa, and the local Kiwanis Club, as well as both OMLA and OAESA. Education is a central part of my family life as well. My husband, Brian, is also an educator—currently in his fourth year teaching K–5 STEM at Van Buren Elementary after teaching first grade for 17 years. We have two children, Mason, a sophomore, and Hallie, an eighth grader, in the Ottawa-Glandorf School District.
